BABY BOY’S 1ST BIRTHDAY: 12 PHOTOSHOOT IDEAS

Your child’s first birthday is a very special occasion. To mark the event various things can be done like pre-birthday week vacation, visiting a park/zoo, special photo session, spending a day with kids of same age, spending a day at orphanage, theme based birthday party (animal, fictional character, cartoon, amusement park) etc. In this blog I am going to share 12 photography ideas to mark your baby boy’s completion of 12 months, that is, celebrating 1st birthday.

Little Gentleman: Baby blue’s special day can be captured beautifully in the outdoors. Around this time baby learns to sit comfortably and follows certain instructions 😀 You can capture this phase of your little one with a nice natural backdrop.

ONEderful baby boy in the box: It’s a very common theme to keep “ONE” in the back drop. Baby’s expression is truly “ONEderful” when he is exposed to nature 🙂

Playful baby part 1: Baby loves to play. Take a picture with his favorite play items.

Playful baby part 2: Baby loves playing. Small light weight colorful balls can be given to the baby to let him play while you do the photography 🙂

He’s No.1: Holding number 1 is a classic theme.

Baby Blue n the Mirror: Some babies get excited, shout, laugh and babble seeing their reflection in the mirror. This little joy of bundle in the above and below is very much in love with his reflection.

Letters O, N, E make ONE: This can be done in two ways: 1. Place the letters “O”, “N” and “E” in front of the baby. 2. Baby can individually hold each letters which can be later combined in one photo.

A Baby’s Day Out: This is the time baby starts to learn walking. Take photo of this phase when your little dashing one is on the move.

Baby’s database: Put all the details of the baby starting from his statistics, things he love to do to his favorite food in a board. This backdrop will remind you of what your one year old baby loved later even when your baby is no more a little baby.

Baby and the glittery night: Baby loves to gaze the stars and the moon of the sky. Many of us even prepare baby’s room with glittery stars. Indoor night theme is my favorite. Simple backdrop of the stars and the moon can make the baby happy and you click the happy moment.

Cake smash on a sunny day: Cake smash is an epic theme. Capture the baby’s cute expression of smashing n eating the cake without caring about anything else 😛 In the above pic “sunny day” backdrop is used to match the color of the cake.

Quarantine birthday party: I thought “QUARANTINE birthday party” theme is apt considering the situation we all are going through during this time of the year when people are asked to maintain social distancing 😛

Baby blue – the genius: Who doesn’t want to see his/her baby to learn ABCD. Learning theme with ABCD blocks, books and other study materials combined with baby’s innocent expression will make you smile.
